Why ME
My philosophy is that the care for any patient should be personalised and tailored to her needs and expectations.
The provided care should always be on expert level, without unnecessary procedures.
When you pick the doctor who will follow-up your pregnancy and that will personally deliver your baby, you need to know who that person is and how he works. This information, although basic, is not easy to find, so I provide you some personal data from last year to make it easier for you to compare with the rest of Spain.
With the following illustrations I want to make public my own statistics in this quest to lower as much as possible the unnecessary interventions during labor. In 2020 I targeted the instrumented deliveries and I was glad to discover that my effort resulted in a significant drop of the use of instruments - it went from 24% to 13%.
This map shows the annual percentage of cesarean sections that occur in Spain. I operate between 15-20%, no episiotomies.
